Welcome to Aspergehof Noordam, the “Groen Hart” specialist in asparagus

Aspergehof Noordam farms over 70 acres in the Green Heart of Holland. Our company is based in Woubrugge, not far from the Hague and Amsterdam, just over a half hour drive.

The Aspergehof is a family business with enthusiasm and passion for what we do. For three generations we grow a wide range of agricultural crops as potatos, onions, grains and beets. After years of experimenting with new crops, we started growing asparagus succesfully 15 years ago. Alongside our main white asparagus crop we also produce green asparagus.

Our asparagus are harvested between the end of March till the end of June, when it’s at its seasonal best. The Aspergehof farm shop is open during the asparagus season on Monday till Friday from 10:00 to 18:00 hour and on Saturday from 9:00 till 17:00 hour.

At the farm shop we’re passionate about good quality, great tasting food and committed to sourcing local products. We also seek out quality, specalist foods from around Holland. At the Aspergehof farm shop you’ll find:

  • Daily harvested white and green asparagus in all sizes and varieties.
  • Home made soups, such as asparagus and onion.
  • Top quality smoked salmon from master chef Rien Heemskerk. (Bawykov zalm)
  • Locally produced jams and chutneys.
  • Fresh cheeses, butter and eggs from small local farms.
  • Great tasting smoked ham from the local butcher.
  • Fresh vegetables and fruits.

Tours, groups and parties:

We are happy to welcome groups, families and parties to Aspergehof Noordam for tours to the fields, lunches, asparagus & wine tastings, BBQ’s, farmers games and more.

Groups and parties must book in advance, so that we provide the best possible experience for your visit. Please contact us at least 14 days before arrival.
